This is Type 60 propelled non-reaction gun. It is JGSDF anti tank vehicle.

Long ! I call it Type 60 !

Type 60 was developed in 1960, the concept is ambush. Tall 1.38m, weight 8t , speed 45～55km/h. This type is called “tank destroyer”. Hiding in a bush, attack fast, and escape speedy. Support infantry was one of a role too.

In this time, personal weapon was poor. If enemy has tank or armor vehicle, it is difficult for infantry to destroy them. So this support vehicle is great help for infantry.

Type 60 was produced about 250. In 2008, all of them retired.
