It is not Legend of Zelda lol It is Hojo flag !!
Nirayama castle is in Izu Shizuoka. It was built by Soun Hojo in 1493. Soun was known first time man as Hojo Sengoku daimyo. He based on this castle, expand his territory in Kanto.
This castle was on a mountain and had many forts.
Japanese castle has some roles, for battle and politics. Nirayama castle was for battle. It has many small and curve roads that are called “Kuruwa”.
Casstle that was built for battle, it is difficult to stroll…..
It is Jinja !

Nirayama castle was surrounded by Hideyoshi in 1590. Hojo：3,600 vs Hideyoshi：50,000. The castle protect was so hard, endured 100 days.
Finally, Ieyasu persuaded defencive general, the castle was opened. After that, castle was used by Ieyasu’s vasal. But in 1601, the castle was abandoned.
